Pass the Heat Takes Grace

SANTA ROSA, Calif. (Aug. 2, 2008) -- California-bred Pass the Heat rallied from last to win Saturday’s $63,450 Joseph T. Grace Handicap at the Sonoma County Fair.

Pass the Heat is by Unusual Heat, out of the Pass the Glass mare She’s Got Glass, was bred by Joseph Morey, foaled at Rivendell Ranch, is owned by Joseph Morey Jr. Trust and trained by Bill Morey Jr.

He has seven wins in 15 starts and earnings of $225,979. He ran the 1 1/16 miles on turf in 1:41.80 and won by two lengths at odds of 9-5.
