Winter Warning in Canada
VANCOUVER, B.C. (Aug. 1, 2008) -- Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Winter Warning is the lone California-bred entered in Monday’s $113,000 Redekop British Columbia Cup Classic Handicap at Hastings Park.
Winter Warning is by Future Storm, out of the Synastry mare Sassy Synner, was bred by Douzos and Matos, is owned by Glen Tool and Patrick Kinsella and trained by Troy Taylor.
The $25,000 Northern California Yearling Sale purchase has six wins in 18 starts, earnings of 109,010 and is coming off a third in the July 1 Lt. Governor’s Handicap.
