Romance is Diane, Silver Z in Hirsch

DEL MAR, Calif. (July 30, 2008) -- California-breds Romance is Diane and Silver Z are entered in Saturday’s $300,000 Grade II Clement L. Hirsch Handicap for fillies and mares at Del Mar.

Romance is Diane is by In Excess, out of the Prized mare Romantic Fibs, was bred by Swan Equine Service, foaled at Magali Farms, is owned by Senji Nishimura and trained by Mike Mitchell. She has five wins in 14 starts, earnings of $644,718 and is coming off a third in the June 28 A Gleam.

Silver Z is by Cee’s Tizzy, out of the Dynaformer mare Zoelu, was bred by and foaled at Harris Farms, is owned by CM Racing and Turf Express and is trained by Brian Koriner. She has four wins in 10 starts, earnings of $203,620 and is coming off a fourth in the July 5 Vanity.
