Cal-bred Trio in Grace

SANTA ROSA, Calif. (July 30, 2008) -- California-breds Cover Magic, Pass the Heat and Eager Pharisien are entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Joseph T. Grace Handicap at the Sonoma County Fair.

Cover Magic is by Alymagic, out of the Transworld mare Cover Me Up, was bred by owner and trainer Alex Paszkeicz and foaled at Daehling Ranch. He has three wins in 17 starts, earnings of $76,357 and is coming off a third in a July 6 optional claimer.

Pass the Heat is by Unusual Heat, out of the Pass the Glass mare She’s Got Glass, was bred by Joseph Morey, foaled at Rivendell Ranch, is owned by Joseph Morey Jr. Trust and trained by Bill Morey Jr. he has six wins in 14 starts, earnings of $184,979 and is coming off a fifth in the June 28 Alamedan.

Eager Pharisien is by Pharisien, out of the Eager Eagle mare Real Eager, was bred by Ellen Jackson, foaled at Victory Rose Thoroughbreds, is owned by GCCI and is trained by Cliff DeLima. He has four wins in 17 starts, earnings of $105,793 and is coming off a sixth in a June 14 optional claimer.
