Indian Ashton Ships to Penn
Penn. (July 30, 2008) -- Indian
Ashton is the lone California-bred entered in Friday’s $100,000
Pennsylvania Governor’s Cup Handicap at five furlongs on the Penn
National turf course.
Indian Ashton is by Tribal Rule,
out of the Bertrando mare Justanotherblonde, was bred by Marty and Pam
Wygod, was foaled at River Edge Farm, is owned by O’Laughlin, Sharma and
Ward and trained by Wesley Ward.
The $105,000 Barretts purchase has
five wins in 12 starts, earnings of $219,996 and is coming off a fourth
in the June 22 Turf Highlander at Woodbine.
