Cal-bred Trio in the CERF

DEL MAR, Calif. (July 28, 2008) – California-breds Spenditallbaby, Kalookan Dancer and Overly Tempting are entered in the first division of Friday’s $75,000 CERF Handicap for fillies and mares at Del Mar.

Spenditallbaby is by Unusual Heat, out of the Dynaformer mare Andover the Money, was bred by Roberts/Abrams, Nakkashian, Johnson and Johnson, foaled at Old English Rancho, is owned by Fiorito, Johnson, Roberts, et al and is trained by Barry Abrams. She has five wins in 25 starts, earnings of $424,478 and is coming off an eighth in the July 19 Osunitas.

Kalookan Dancer is by Olympio, out of the Moscow Ballet mare Desert Ballet, was bred by Romulo & Asistio Stables, was foaled at Old English Rancho, is owned by Gramer, Jones, Pyle, et al and trained by Walther Solis. She has six wins in 17 starts, earnings of $282,119 and is coming off a win in the July 13 Vacaville Handicap.

Overly Tempting is by In Excess, out of the Something Lucky mare Contemptible, was bred by and foaled at Old English Rancho, is owned by E.W. and Judy Johnston and Marsha Naify and trained by Bruce Headley. She has three wins in 10 starts, earnings of $178,144 and is coming off a third in a June 27 optional claimer.
