Notional Seeks Grade I
SARATOGA, N.Y. (July 24, 2008) -- Notional, coming off his first win in 17 months, is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $750,000 Grade I Whitney Handicap at Saratoga.
Notional is by In Excess, out of the French Deputy mare Truly Blessed, was bred by and foaled at Vessels Stallion Farm, is owned by J.P. Reddam and trained by Mark Hennig.
The $235,000 Barretts purchase has five wins in 12 starts, earnings of $695,740 and is coming off a win in the July 5 Salvator Mile.
