Thor’s Echo Enters Vanderbilt
SARATOGA, N.Y. (July 24, 2008) --
Former Eclipse winner Thor’s Echo is the lone California-bred entered in
Saturday’s $250,000 Grade II Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap at Saratoga.
Thor’s Echo is a 6-year-old by
Swiss Yodeler, out of the Mr. Integrity mare Helen of Troy, was bred by
Fast Lane Farms & Block & Forman, was foaled at Harris Farms, is owned
by Sheik Rashid bin Muhommad Al Maktoum and trained by Doug O’Neill.
He has five wins in 21 starts,
earnings of $2,429,490 and is coming off a fourth in the June 7 True
North, his first start since finishing sixth in Dubai Mar. 31, 2007.
