Babs Moossa Graduates

DEL MAR, Calif. (July 23, 2008) -- Babs Moossa overcame a crowded start to rally in late stretch and score a nose win in Wednesday’s $136,000 Graduation Stakes for California-bred 2-year-olds at Del Mar.

Babs Moossa is by Crowning Storm, out of the Candi’s Gold mare Moossa’s Girl, was bred by, foaled at and owned by Halo Farms and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer.
He has three wins in five starts, earnings of $131,450 and was coming off a win in the July 12 Solano County Juvenile.

Babs Moossa ran the 5 ½ furlongs in 1:04.70 and was the 3-1 second choice. Favored Triumphant Flight was second and Turbo Call third.
