Babs Moossa Likely Graduation

DEL MAR, Calif. (July 2, 2008) --
Stakes winner Babs Moossa leads a field of eight in Wednesday’s $125,000
Graduation Stakes for California-bred 2-year-olds at Del Mar.
Turbo Call is by Nineeleven, out of
the Afleet mare Better Day, was bred by owner Terry Lovingier and is
trained by Walther Solis. He has one win in three starts, earnings of
$36,820 and is coming off a second in the July 12 Solano County
Juvenile.
Triumphant Flight is by Chullo, out
of the Kennedy Road mare Jetinwith Kennedy, was bred by and foaled at
Applebite Farms, is owned by Tyler Seltzer and trained by Eric Kruljac.
The $36,000 Barretts purchase won his only start July 12.
Babs Moossa is by Crowning Storm,
out of the Candi’s Gold mare Moossa’s Girl, was bred by, foaled at and
owned by Halo Farms and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. He has two
wins in four starts, earnings of $50,850 and is coming off a win in the
July 12 Solano County Juvenile.
Jack Flash is by Swiss Yodeler, out
of the Cee’s Tizzy mare Self Taught, was bred by Mike and Patricia
Harrington, was foaled at Pepper Oaks Farm, is owned by Mike Harrington
Trust and trained by Mike Harrington. In three starts he has a lone win
via disqualification, earnings of $43,428 and is coming off a sixth in
the July 5 Hollywood Futurity.
Atlantra’s Tantrum is by Old
Topper, out of the Majestic Light mare Atlantra, was bred by, foaled at
and owned by Tommy Town Thoroughbreds and is trained by Armando Lage. He
is coming off a maiden win in his third start June 27 and has earnings
of $12,376.
Glorious One is by Old Topper, out
of the Unbridled mare Fasahah, was bred by, foaled at and owned by Tommy
Town Thoroughbreds and is trained by Peter Miller. He won his lone start
June 25 and has earnings of $12,000.
Swiss Alpine is by Swiss Yodeler,
out of the Conquistador Cielo mare Early Tales, was bred by Joseph
Duffel and Mr. and Mrs. Rick Sackett, was foaled at Duffel Farm, is
owned by Joseph Duffel and Christopher York and is trained by Jose
DeLima. The Barretts graduate has one win in four starts, earnings of
$18,160 and is coming off an eighth in the July 5 Hollywood Juvenile.
Making Dreams is by Rio Verde, out
of the Dancebel mare Living Dreams, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is
owned by John Costello, Richard London and Terry Lovingier and trained
by Walther Solis. He has one win in three starts, earnings of $44,796
and is coming off a second in the July 5 Hollywood Juvenile.
