Cal-bred Trio in Osunitas

DEL MAR, Calif. (July 17, 2008) -- California-breds Lightmyfirebaby, Spenditallbaby and Comedy Girl are entered in Saturday’s $85,000 Osunitas Handicap for fillies and mares at Del Mar.

Lightmyfirebaby is by Unusual Heat, out of the Valid Appeal mare True Melody, was bred by Abrams, Johnson, Nakkashian and Wick, was foaled at Old English Rancho, is owned by Richard O’Neill Trust and is trained by Barry Abrams. She has five wins in 19 starts, earnings of $314,589 and is coming off a second in the June 21 Work the Crowd.

Spenditallbaby is by Unusual Heat, out of the Dynaformer mare Andover the Money, was bred by Roberts/Abrams, Nakkashian, Johnson and Johnson, foaled at Old English Rancho, is owned by Fiorito, Johnson, Roberts, et al and is trained by Barry Abrams. She has five wins in 24 starts, earnings of $424,478 and is coming off a sixth in the June 28 A Gleam.

Comedy Girl is by Comic Strip, out of the Relaunch a Tune mare Musical Girl, was bred by BnD Chase Thoroughbreds, was foaled at Special T Thoroughbreds, is owned by BnD, Z Thoroughbreds, Burgess, et al. She has four wins in 13 starts, earnings of $158,302 and is coming off a second in the  Apr. 27 Fran’s Valentine.
