Stormy Jack Moves to Harris Farms

COALINGA, Calif. (Nov. 1, 2007) -- Freshman sire Stormy Jack will be
relocated to Harris Farms for the 2008 breeding season.
The 10-year-old Bertrando horse out of the winning Steelinctive (GB) mare
Tiny Kristin will stand for $2,500, the same fee he stood for in 2007 at G
& M Thoroughbred Farms in Hemet.
Stormy Jack has sired five winners
from six starters in his first crop. Through Tuesday, his progeny have
earned $81,085.
A Jack and Florence Arnold homebred trained by Bob Baffert, Stormy Jack
secured eight wins, including four stakes victories, five seconds, and
three thirds from 21 career starts.
Stormy Jack captured the 1999 I’m
Smokin Stakes and 2000 Real Good Deal and Oceanside Stakes, all at Del
Mar, and the 2001 On Trust Handicap at Hollywood Park. He also finished
second in the 2001 Los Angeles Handicap (G3) at Hollywood Park. He
concluded his four-year racing career with $596,673 in earnings.
